I have a petition for naturalization for my Great Grandfather Janos Fulop/John Phillips. On this do
His father was also Janos Fulop and his mother possibly Tali Anna. Is Tali her last name? I'd like to get a birth certificate for him and any other information possible. I can't find anything on Ancestry or FamilySearch.
I don't know much about him. Born March 17, 1884. Left Fuime, Hungary on April 17, 1911 and arrived in NY on May 9, 1911. Possibly married to my Great Grandmother (Julia Bon or Ban) on 24 Jan 1910.
I hope someone can help. Thank you so much.

Naturalization record. Batar (Ботар now part of Ukraine) is Close to Csepe

Yes, this matches up to the document I have. Batar is close to Csepe? I didn't know that. Batar is in the Ukraine now too? Batar is where my Great grandmother and grandmother were born. I think they were living in Batar before they came to the US. I have my Grandmother's birth certificate and it says Batar. I have most of it figured out but not all of it. They were all Roman Catholic. I'm assuming I have to go to Csepe and Batar for birth records for the Great Grandparents and possibly marriage documents. I also have letters from my Grandmother's side (I think) written in Hungarian. I've had some transcribed but am still unsure of how they fit in the family. Thank you so much for your help. I have been stuck for a couple of years of how to even go about getting information and records. We would like to come to Hungary, Ukraine, etc. in fall 2022 so any details we have would help in case we have family still there. Thank you so much. I appreciate your help more than you know.

I see Yena but I don't see Batar. I see Bator. Is this the same thing? There is a Batar in Romania so I thought that was there my Grandmother and GGrandmother were born. So confusing especially when I don't know any of the languages. I looked at the link that you provided to get information. I guess I'm not sure how to use these. It looks like none of them are exactly what I need. I think my GGrandparents are Roman Catholic. Thank you for you help. I really appreciate it. Still at a loss as to where to look for records but I appreciate your help.

This is wonderful. Thank you so much. I'm getting so excited since I'm learning more. I have letters from my G.Grandmother's niece (I think) and someone that transcribed one of the letters said that they were mailed/postmarked from Mukacheve/Mukachevo (Munkacs in Hungarian) which is not too far from Uzhgorod. The envelope scene from Russia has an address is the town of Uzhgorod. I have the one more letter and envelope that haven't been transcribed but it is from the same person Mariska (the niece). The first letter has her first name and I think married name. Do you mind having a look at it to see if you can make out the married name? Maybe also the envelop to the second letter in case there is an address. I also have pictures of family and I'm hoping some of them are still alive.
