How to find my great grandparent's from their native country
I'm hoping someone can help me. My Great Grandfather is from Elizabethgrad & my Grandmother & her mom is from Evaptoria. They came from Constantinople on the Constantinople into Ellis Island in the early 1920's. I have been searching for quite sometime and I have not found 1 piece of evidence about them over there. From the second they got of the boat I have just about everything and anything about them in regards to America. My grandfather's name is Dimitry J. Sahalsky born in June 2, 1894 he was in the military there not sure which but he was a "white" Russian. (Red or Bolsheviks was considered a bad word my mother once told me.) G Grandmother Vera Demerji April 1,1893. She had like 4-6 sisters. And finally Helen she was born April 26,1916. If anyone can help me out I'd be so grateful! Do you know what religion they belonged to? That will be important in determining where to find records.

I believe they were Russian Orthodox.

I have tried and tried so many different ways spelling their names as well as different techniques on searching with NO luck at all. Very discouraged.

Okay, great, I have a few suggestions for you.
I'm guessing the reason you are not coming up with anything is because many records for this area have not yet been indexed in places like FamilySearch and Ancestry.
If you want to learn more about ancestors that possibly served in the White Army, you could search this database: http://swolkov.org/info1.htm. This is also a good website to learn more: https://meduza.io/cards/kak-uznat-bolshe-o-rodstvennikah-voevavshih-v-grazhdanskuyu.
These sites are in Russian, but if you are using Google Chrome browser, just right click anywhere on the page and select Translate to English.
There is a good Ukrainian genealogy database - https://pra.in.ua/. I would probably start there.
If you do not find anything there, you'll probably need to either contact the archives (Elizabethgrad) or page through digital images (Evaptoria). You can find more information about these two options below.
Elizabethgrad is now located in Kirovohrad Oblast in Ukraine and records for the area would be in the State Archive of the Kirovohrad Oblast. Here is the website for the archive: http://dakiro.kr-admin.gov.ua/index_R.php.
As for Evaptoria, there are some records available on FamilySearch for the city (were they from the city, or just the surrounding area?) You can find them here. It looks like records aren't indexed, so you would need to go through them page by page.
