@Family Bible I believe Charles E. Miller is LDX6-C17. The information is not complete in his or his wife's vital sections but the record hints for the 1900 and 1910 censuses fit the story in the newspaper.

@Family Bible I believe Alexander R. Oliver is L6ZR-DRR. He was a farmer in Marion County, South Carolina. That matches the story in the newspaper. 1910 census lists him as a confederate veteran.
