I could use help translating this marriage record. This record can be found in the Zamrsk Archives i
the entire contents of register 1004. I would appreciate a full translation of this record but I am particularity interested in the names of the Bride and Grooms parents and their villages and house numbers.
Thank You

Please tell us what you have already translated please and we will try to fill in the blanks. A word for word translation is not possible, by me at least. Have you translated a record before? Have you learned the German script alphabet?
Sincerely,

Betseylee,
I think I know that the Groom is Josef Klapka, he is Catholic and was 36 years old at the time of the marriage. The Bride is Maria Kasafirch, she is Catholic and was 23 years old at the time of the marriage. The date of the marriage was
29 Jan (not sure of the month) 1856. The name of the parish was Nassaberg aka Nasavrky. I believe the house number for both bride and groom was 12. I think the home village of the groom was Drahotice. I can translate these records up to a point but it depends on how clear the handwriting is.
Thank You

My first step in figuring out names and towns would be to see if there is a map available for the area that I can view the surrounding towns. Also do they have an index for these records? The priests usually write the names carefully. I find three towns in Zamrsk with the name of Nasavrky. Please tell me which one is the correct one. The Gazatteer I used was www.genteam.at which is a free site but you must register. This site allows you to put part of the town's name in and it will pull up possibilities.

It is good that you wrote which record it was because you did not specify before. The date is Ledna which is January. So 8215 is the correct village. This map is from https://en.mapy.cz/zakladni?x=15.8118153&y=49.8756599&z=12&source=muni&id=2290. They also have a historic map from the 19th century that will help. I will try to figure out what I can for the record.

Thank you Betseylee, that was very helpful. This information should help me move back one generation in this family line.
I appreciate your help

You are welcome. Sorry I could not figure every village out. Maybe the marriage records of these couples would clear up the towns if you can find them. If there is an index of names to this record I could figure out more about the surnames. They usually write them clearer.
