Well, I want to say Fitiuta, but I can't remember for sure right now, but where the PILI'S are from in Manu'a, that would be where. LOL! I will inquire of my family and get back to you if you don't get back to me first. 😁

Talofa lava team 'Pacific Islands Genealogy Research'
I stumbled across this page while trying to look into my Family Search family tree. It's great to connect with people of the pacific, particularly Samoa. I am a New Zealand-born Samoan, currently living in Australia. My father's family are the Fesola'i family from Faleasi'u, although he was raised by his maternal grandparents, the Lio Peapea family in Vailu'utai. I have been fascinated lately and wanting to learn more about his paternal grandparents, the Luteru Tuiasau family of Vaisala and Vaiala. There are Tongan names and connections from my dad's family and would also like to learn more about these ancestors as I believe my great grandfather may be buried in Tonga.
My mother is from beautiful Savaii (Lalomalava, Iva) of the Tumanuvao Tuivale family.
I can go back about 4 generations but find it very hard to know where to start to seek documentation of births, deaths, marriages of other ancestors.
My mother served a mission for the church in Manu'a Island and she said she loved it there. Not sure exactly where but she said the people there loved and looked after the missionaries well.
