I am a DNA 16 CM DNA match with you on my maternal side. I think we're connected to your and my maternal lines. Have you had any luck with any of your DNA matches? I haven’t emailed you because we are more distantly related and I haven’t quite figured out how yet. Some of your distance matches with trees may be helpful to you. It might at least point you to an area of Bohemia.
There is a change with AncestryDNA coming up soon. It will take effect in early August. They are going to be changing their algorithms to improve quality of DNA match results. That’s wonderful, but they also will be removing all 6 cM and 7 cM matches. (According to another post I came across this might also include some 8 cM matches—I guess they round off matches to the whole number.)
These distant can be very helpful and important to people with ancestors from Europe. We don’t have as many matches as those who have had ancestors in America for centuries.
You may want to save some of the 6-8 cM that you have. They will be saved if you have “added a Note” or “put them in a group (colored dots). Some distance matches you may want to save are those who share a “Common Ancestor”, have a surname or location you are researching, have a nice size tree, or are connected to your “True Lines”. As to the Czech Slovak Protective Society: At National Czech & Slovak Museum & Library https://www.ncsml.org/library/ I did a search in their Online Catalog for “C.S.P.S.” and the first result that comes up sounds like it might be helpful to you: C.S.P.S Lodge Death Claims, 1886-1896, compiled by Margie Sobotka . She was very involved at CGSI for many years. I believe the publication circulates, but I couldn’t find out more on the website. If it doesn’t, maybe you could send in a request for a lookup to them. They might do that for you. I also searched WorldCat.org for the book and they have that publication listed in their catalog with other locations.

And I just found out that Ancestry.com is implementing a new message center, and when I checked on my messages and then clicked on "all Messages" and scrolled down I got this message: "Your messages are now located in our new message center and can be viewed by recipient.
Your 1 folder and messages from our previous system will be available to download and save until August 31, 2020." and green bar to "Download Folders". So I'm assuming if you don't download these mentioned messages they will disappear? Just letting everyone know. You might want to download those messages to your computer.

Hi Sue, I also got your message on Ancestry. Thanks for the heads up; I haven't gone through very many of my distant matches at all, there are simply too many of them and I don't have time to figure out how they relate to me. As for the close matches that I know relate to my Bohemian side, I know who they are and how they fit into my tree.
Thank you for the idea on the CSPS lodge death claims. I will email them and ask if they have any entries for my great-grandmother. That might be very useful.
I will tag you on Ancestry and add a note so you don't disappear from my match list.
As for those other websites, I have all those bookmarked and occasionally look through them.
Thank you for your help! I hope we can find out how we are related.
