I just wanted to mention what one of my genealogy societies is doing to address inclusion. I am a board member for the Second Life Virtual Genealogical Society (https://slvirtualgenealogy.org/). This society meets virtually in Second Life. Last night we conducted a virtual field trip to the Virtual Black History Museum. This virtual museum records the history of African Americans from the initiation of slavery through the Civil Rights Movement and includes bios of some lesser known important figures in the Civil Rights Movement. I will be posting a blog about it later today on the SLVGS website. Next month our panel discussion will be about inclusion in genealogy.

I bet those are interesting conversations....! How many people generally come to the meetings? Did you end up posting the blog post? I looked but didn't see it.

I didn't get around to posting about it. Got too busy doing a bunch of other projects. My writing is very dependent upon my motivation and if I can't get motivated to write I just don't do it.
