Have you interviewed your living relatives?
I found a list of interview questions, and I think that they are available for free access:

Some of the questions in this long list are pretty typical family interview questions. A few are kind of unique. Can you think of some good questions that they did not inclued? What do you think?

I would ask, "What was important to your Parents?" and "What did they teach you?" I'm sure there are other questions, if I just thought a little longer. My Mom and Dad are gone, but it's fun to talk with my Mother in Law. She has great stories. Lots of fun! Thanks for the query, Pam Whicker
