Some of the"Third Party" Applications such as "Ancestry_com" and the like may require a PAID "Subscription", is that what you are referring to.

Many of those "Third Party" Applications such as "Ancestry_com" and the like can be accessed/viewed for FREE, by all Users/Patrons, through the Computers, at "Family History Centres" of the Church which are located around the World.
