I am having difficulty finding in parish records from Asturias, where my Oyarbide family lived from at least 1899 until at least 1936. Can anyone shed light on why those records are basically non-existent on both Family Search and Ancestry? Thank you!

I did a search on FS and found 142 results for the Oyarbide family for those dates and Asturias. Also 102,000 results for everyone I'm Asturias. Soy Elder Hull y vivo en catalunya, Spain ​

The parish registers in Asturias are not digitized .. you have to go and look for them personally at the parish that corresponds or at the Diocesan Archive and hopefully they have been preserved after the revolution of '34 and the subsequent civil war.
