I want to perform temple work for two non-family members born in the 1920's and died in 2013 and 15.
I have written permission from a close family member and I have all the information I need.
They were both born, married and died in Illinois, USA
I have a some dear friends who passed away 5 and 7 years. Since then I have constantly been prompted to have them sealed in the temple.
I am not related to them, but I have their granddaughters written permission that she thinks it would be a great way to honor their memory.
Their granddaughter (age 45)'s father has passed away so she the closest link in her line. There are 2 other children of my friends who are still alive, but they have always been friendly towards the church and the family in general are close.
I have all their information and would love to get their work done.

You will NOT get the ability to "Request" the "Temple" Work through "Family Tree" of "FamilySearch"; as, (1) they fall within the 110 Year Rule; and, (2) your are NOT related.

The first course of action is to ensure that they are recorded in "Family Tree" of "FamilySearch".

The second course of action is to Submit a 'Support' Case through "FamilySearch".

Even by submitting a 'Support' Case through "FamilySearch"; and, having 'Written' Permission, DOES NOT guarantee you will get approval.

But, please be aware that the above are somewhat 'Dated'; and, "Restrictions" have been "Tightened" even further, making it much harder.

My husband was able to get permission to do temple work for a friend of his who died a few years ago that he was not related to. He got written permission from the children and was given permission from familysearch to do the temple work. I think you may be able to get permission also.
