It has probably been asked before so I apologize. What do you put for burial information if someone

@M Palmer
.
This is just me ...
Each to their own ...
.
In the "Vitals" Section against the "Burial" field:
.
- I usually include/add the word "Cremated" as a "Prefix" to the 'Date' sub-field - it is acceptable; and, you can still "Standardise" that 'Date' sub-field, even with words/text included/added; and,
.
- If know, I include/add HOW the "Ashes" were 'Disposed of' - ie. Taken, Scattered (at the Cemetery; around the 'plaque' at the Cemetery; at Sea; on the Beach; on the Farm, etc) whatever the case may be, in the 'Place' sub-field.
.
And, then, in the "Other Information" Section, under "Events", there is s specific "Event" for "Cremation" - add the details there as well.
.
I add/include the same details in BOTH of the aforementioned places. As, you then have 'the best of both worlds', so to speak.
.
I hope this helps.

@M Palmer Further information can also be found in the following "Help" article on "Burial":
Just use a non-standardized entry and understand that's why you'll then be seeing the red "!" indicating a record "problem" associated with that record thereafter. It's OK. Your "Reason This Information Is Correct" statement will explain it if you do so in that field.

This is a great solution; those who come after you, who are looking for the information in either place will find it.
