Translation:
Joseph Horlacher, was legitimately begotten and born to Andraß [Andreas] Horlacher on 27 March 1598, 77 years ago, and was brought to baptism. He was properly brought up as a Christian and carefully encouraged to do all good. In the 12th year of his age, he entered into service in 2 distant places for 19 years. Afterwards he married Agatha Hambert(in), lived with her in Eltershofen for 40 years, had 8 children with her, 6 sons and 2 daughters, all devoted to God. Because of his advanced age and increasing infirmity, he was taken into the poor house by the E.E. Council, together with his wife, at his humble request. He took good care of his Christian faith with diligent listening to the Divine Word and worthy use of Holy Communion, and was at peace with his neighbours. He was last afflicted with a violent cough and a high fever, which finally seized him with convulsions, from which he also gave up his spirit in a blessed manner on Friday morning between 3 and 4 o'clock on the 26th of March. He was buried on Sunday 28th March.

And the translation, as best as I can do with the old language -
Joseph Horlacher, born on the 27th of March in the year 1598, was the legitimate son of Andreaß Horlacher, and presented for Holy Baptism. Thereafter he was raised in the Christian faith, and was carefully instructed in all good things. In the 12th year of his age, he went to a foreign land and served for 19 years in two different places. Later, he married Agatha Hambertin, and they lived together in a Christian marriage for 40 years at Eltershoffen. Together, they had 8 children: 6 sons and 2 daughters, who are all devoted to God. Because of his old age and increasing frailty, he and his wife were taken in to the poor house by the E. E. [Council?]. He diligently attended to his Christian duties, listening attentively to God's Word and making proper use of the Holy Communion and was peaceful with his neighbors. Fell ill for the last time with a severe cough, with a high fever, and finally struck by gout, from which he passed away on Friday morning, March 26, between 3 and 4 o'clock, peacefully giving up his spirit while [others prayed].
Note - with regard to the 8 children, I don't think they were still alive at the time of Joseph's death. In the previous entry, it says that the woman had 1 son and 3 daughters, of which 1 daughter still lives. There is no such statement here. Also, the fact that they went to the poor house instead of being taken in by children also makes me think they didn't survive. Hopefully the records from this time still exist so you can verify this.
