Naturalization Process: Walworth County circa 1855

I have located my GG Grandfathers Naturalization Intent Statement that was filed 2 June 1855 in Walworth County, Wisconsin (link below), where he lived until his death in 1882. Would he have been required to file a petition to provide additional details to complete the citizenship process? If so, is there a chance that I can find a copy of that document?

Hi @Tony Hanson_2. I believe he would've needed more papers filed. Declarations of Intention were often seen as the first step of citizenship, though not all completed the process.

Unfortunately, I couldn't find other documents for John in my searches, though that doesn't definitively say there are none. The only other thing I found—if this 1870 census is correct— is that he was not listed as a citizen in column 19; however, this could have been an accidental omission.
