Numbers vs Dates
The new 'Fact View' option highlights how Full Text Search often interprets numbers as a Year. This characteristic also shows up in the date filters where a number transcribed from the image is treated as a date. Might want to highlight this by labeling that section of Fact View as 'Date/Number' vice just 'Date'. Could preclude confusion as to what's presented. Other option would be to drop that section completely and stick with Persons and Places. Those two sections hold the truly 'value-added' info….
Appreciate the continued work with the interface/features and FamilySearch allowing us to check it out.

Thank you @Mark McKenzie_1
What I think you are saying is that full text search may see a number such as "1961 Main Street" as a year. If possible, we want Full Text Search to exclude numbers that are not dates, even if they appear to be dates.
And if a collection is filtered by year, the Year field still shows all numbers that look like a year, even though we would prefer to only see in the Years field, years that fit in the filtered year range. Exclude dates that may be in the document that we are not interested in.
I can pass this along to the engineers.0 -
Thanks…. Might not be in the realm of the 'possible', but you never know.
