Editing picture titles and information when in the Family Group Tree
It would be great if we can edit pictures that are uploaded to the Family Group Tree by others in the group. They may have the picture, but I may have the date or the location, etc or want to standardize the titles. Right now, we can't edit this information from someone else's upload.

@Carin Price This is true. Currently, only the owner of the image can make any changes to the image such as date, location and background information. You can click on the submitter's name and send them a message with more information about the image. You could also post a comment to the image with additional information. The submitter will get a notification about your comment. You could also post that image to the group messaging asking for corroboration from your family about the date and location, tagging the person who uploaded the image so that they would see everyone's comments on it.
The ability to edit another user's pictures becomes a bit of an issue if that person has shared that picture with other groups. Which group would be the owner of that memory? If you edit the date and location of a picture that you don't own and is shared to another group that you are not a member of…that would be confusing for the members of that other group.

I agree with all of Anne's suggestions.
Yes, there are limitations in our ability to edit the details of a Memory uploaded by another. But we still have useful tools so that we can all collaborate on these Memories (like adding Comments).
It's a good reminder. . . The Family Group Trees are meant for collaboration. It will be an group-specific journey to figure out how best to accomplish that. Best of luck!
