Adolf Bierwagen, born 15/28 October 1901 in Kurówek, son of Ferdinand Bierwagen, age 42, and Henrietta Schmidt, age 39.

Held in Belkhatov on the eighteenth (thirty-first) day of October, one thousand nine hundred and first year at two in the afternoon, Ferdinand Bierwaugen, landowner in Kurówek, forty-two years in the presence of John Stark, landowner in Augustow*, thirty-four years and Gernich Gursky, a landowner in Veronica, thirty-six years old, and presented us with a male baby, announcing that he was born in Kurówek on the fifteenth (twenty-eighth) October of the current year, at six o’clock in the morning from his lawful wife, Henrietta nee Schmitt (He nrietty Schmidt) thirty nine years old. At the holy baptism of this day, this infant was given the name Adolf, and his recipients were the indicated Stark and Justina Gurskaya, the wife of the witness. This act has been read by declaring witnesses, we have only signed it, for they are illiterate.
*In the sixth line, instead of the crossed out word “Augustov,” you should read “Augustinov.”
