Hello Doris,
What your are interpreting in both records as the mother's maiden surname is actually the word "sein(e)" = his.
Both records identify the parents as: Hanss Ström und Barbara sein(e) Haussfrau . . . = Hanss Ström and Barbara his wife . . .
Translation:
Date: 21 September.
Parents: Hanss Ström and Barbara his wife from Zaiertshofen.
Godparents: Leonhardt Schreickhardt and Anna Kreitern?/Kräitern?, both from "Morenhaussen" [Mohrenhausen: https://www.meyersgaz.org/place/20201036].
Child: Anna.
P.S. In the baptismal index for this parish, this surname is recorded as "Strem":
https://data.matricula-online.eu/en/deutschland/augsburg/zaiertshofen/5-T-R/?pg=15Note that the first two entries under the surname "Strem" is for the child born on July 22 whose name is missing and for Anna born in 1654.

Thank-you @Robert Seal_1. I have looked at the Taufen registry extensively. Adam Strem senior (not in the registry, probably born before the starting date of the registry) got married in 1670, died in 1715, and starting in 1671, the children in the registry are his. So the first two children in the registry under Strem are probably the first Adam Strem’s siblings. Adam Strem senior is my 8th great grandfather and his son Adam (born in 1679) is my 7th great grandfather. I may be incorrect, but the record you looked at for me are probably siblings of Adam Strem senior and so I potentially have the names of my 9th great-grandparents. Thanks again. It is just incredible to think that I can find 350 year old records of family members.
