Hello, I found that a lot of birth records indicated who the father was and that he was a colonist. From what I see it would mean that they came from Germany or Austria. Is there a way to find out more about the colonist, such as where he came from, specifically, like what village?

    Matthias, I do not think that there are lists of those who immigrated from Germany and Austria to Poland. But you may search for their individual records in Germany and in Austria, using familySearch.org - Search - Records. sometimes when those immigrants or their children got married, they listed the name of the place they were from.
