Translation Request - Birth Record -Josephus 30 Aug 1818
Please help with the translation of this birth record. I know I am getting much of this wrong/incorrect. What is the child's surname? What does it say after Antonius Bieda? Here is what I think there is:
Lubenia Roman Catholic Parish, Birth Record, dated 30th August 1818, Josephus (Jozef in Polish) surname?? illegitimate son of Agnes Myrda, widow, after the death of her husband, Antonius (Antoni in Polish) Bieda, (what does it say after Bieda?). Witnesses: Mathias (Maciej) Kosiński, farmer and Catherina (Katarzyna in Polish) wife of Antonius (Antoni in Polish) Bieda.
Thank you, I appreciate it, Mattie

Mattie, you may later clarify when the maiden name of Agnes, wife of Antonius Bieda shows up again. Right now I still think it is Agnes Bieda, born Blyzda, according to this record. But since the recorders at that time relied only on what they heard, as there were no written Identification Documents (IDs), there could be a variation of this spelling.

That makes sense. Thank you. I appreciate it. Mattie

Dear Maria,
Thanks very much for your help with this. I appreciate the clarification on "Pr." and the name Blysda which I interpreted as Myrda, and the surname. This Agnes Bieda not Agnes Myrda, and her father is Valentius (Walenty) Blysda?
Can I use what is stated as "widow after the death of her husband Antonius Bieda", to narrow down the approximate date of Antonius' death (1818)? On a death record of one of his other children he is documented as the father (in 1816), so, I think, this would mean he died sometime between 1816 and 1818?
Thank you, I appreciate it.
Mattie
