Note that the surnames for the groom and his father are spelled slightly different:

For the groom the name is spelled Schmiedlin in the right margin; for the father the name is spelled Schmidtlin in the body of the record.

Translation:

On the 8th of April 1777 [were married]: Nicolaus Schmiedlin, legitimately conceived unmarried son of Nicolaus Schmidtlin, citizen and widower here, with the late Elisabetha, née Geitliger, and Anna Catharina Barbara Bacher, legitimately conceived unmarried daughter of Johann Jacob Bacher, citizen here, with Anna Maria, née Estlinbaum.
