Thank-you.
Where is Kreith in relation to Wagenhofen? Any ideas? I can’t seem to find it.

There seems to be two possible Kreiths:
1 -
The Wagenhofen 1) in Myers Gazette is East of Munich. And the Wagenhofen from the Matricula website, where I found this record, is Northwest of Munich. The later is close to where my Dad was born, in Rohrenfels. And there is no Kreith near the later Wagenhofen. So I am not sure what to make of that. It is probably Wagenhofen 5) or 6) in Myers Gazette. It would be nice if both websites provided co-ordinates. But I am grateful that I found the record.

The small map that comes up initially on Meyers has the pointer in the wrong place. If you click on the map tab on Meyers the pointer shows up in the correct place (and is the same location as matricula). You can zoom in and also toggle to a modern map which is easier to use when judging distances.

Wagenhofen is the number 1) in Meyers Gazetteer: https://www.meyersgaz.org/place/21050062. However, the location of this Wagenhofen on the overview map (Entry page for Wagenhofen 1) ) is wrong! Click on the map tab and the correct location near Neuburg an der Donau is shown.
Ballersdorf is the nearest village north of Wagenhofen. You can find it on the Matricula map:
. In Meyers ( ) there is no link to the map; in fact if you look at the map for Wagenhofen in Meyers you will see that the village there is called Hallersdorf (this may be a printing error); if you switch to the modern map the name is Ballersdorf.
As for the location of the bride's home it should be near to the church where the wedding will take place. Looking at the map I find a small hamlet called "Kreut" (
) a few km' NW of both Ballersdorf and Wagenhofen. ("-eith" and "-eut" may be spelling differences). So I would conclude that these are the places mentioned in the record.

@DorisMiller1 ; @Ulrich Neitzel has it figured out. The Kreut records are in Wagenhof and Theresia's baptism record is at the bottom of left page here:

Thank-you for all the help. I now know how to better use the Meyers Gazetteer. And the spelling variant of Kreith makes sense. One day when I go back to visit my cousins in Germany, I will try to visit all of these towns, villages and hamlets. And I will know where to find Kreith/Kreut!
