Danish Marriage Translation of Hans Eriksen and Dorthe Andersdatter in Stokkemarke Parish, Denmark
I'm looking for the marriage of Hans Eriksen LQYX-KTP, who was born in Stokkemarke Parish in 1744. I found a marriage record for a Hans Eriksen and Dorthe Andersdatter in Stokkemarke on 2 April 1770. He is a bachelor and she is a widow. They are both from Stokkemarke farm in Stokkemarke. There are important remarks that may be very helpful that I'm hoping someone can translate! Also, what does it say in the column to the left of their names? The record is on page 580, image 449. Thank you so much for your help!

This is a great question! Thanks for asking it.
The writer of the record has done some things that are too difficult to directly translate here, so I will just give the meaning of what he has written.
In the remarks column, the writer refers to the entry above this one to record that there are no reasons (such as too close relationship or other illegalities) that would prevent this couple from being married and the undersigned bondsmen have attested to that fact. Then it says that the bride (Dorthe Andersdaatter) was found to be pregnant from her previous marriage. The bondsmen are Erik (or Erich) Hansen and Rasmus Andersen. This article in the FamilySearch Wiki has some information concerning bondsmen that may be of use to you:
.The columns to the left of their names records the date of the engagement/bethrothal (trolovet) on the 2nd of April and the date of the marriage (ægteviede) on the 1st of June.

Norm,
Thank you for your thorough answer! I looked for a birth of a daughter in 1770 with a mother named Dorthe but didn't find one. Would the birth/christening record usually say that her current husband or her deceased husband was the father?
Thanks again! Joellen

So if it is the right marriage of "our" Hans Erichsen, then from what I found on Hans Erichsens parents the first bondsmen - Erich Hansen - must be the father of Hans Erichsen.
Rasmus Andersen could either be the brother of Hans Erichsen's mother Magrethe Andersdatter; or possible a brother of Dorthe Andersdatter?
The birth record would state if the child was uægte (out-of-wedlock) or ægte (conceived within the marriage). If it is known who the father is, then "udlagt barnefader" (named father of child) would be written for an "uægte" child.0 -
Dorthe Andersdatter's parents:
Trolovet: 13. July 1738 in Stokkemarke Sogn.
Married: Dominica 3 post Trinitatis [= 14. June 1739]
Anders Stephansøn in Kieldernes.
Maren Hansdatter (at Hr. Tranes) in Saltvig.
Source (page 131, left nr 13): https://arkivalieronline.rigsarkivet.dk/da/billedviser?epid=17118784#156854,26297264NB: So Dorthe Andersdatter must be their first child.
