Those born in the Austrian Empire in 1897 and before
Looking for the surname of Wesolowski. I believe the name was changed after some family members emmigrated to the U.S. at the turn of the century. In America, it was written: Weglowski or Weglowska. I cannot find any Weglowski or Weglowska in the area that my husband's grandmother said she was born in. The cities are Widelka or Zatoka on the south eastern area of Poland. She said she was born in Austria which leads me to believe the Austrian/Hungarian Empire.
Names are: Anilla (Angela) Weglowski/Wenglofska/Wesolowska. b. 1884
Wojciech. b. 9 April 1888
John Andrew. b. 1890
Carolina/Karoline. b. 7 Jan 1893
Helena/Helen. b. 26 Sept 1895
Stephany/Stefania/Stephanie. b. 10 Feb 1897
Father: Maciey/ Matteuse Weglowski/ Weglowska/Wesolowska. b abt 1872 (This date has to be wrong bc it would make him 12 yrs old at the birth of his first child.)
Mother: Justyna Ploch/ Plock/ Ploc. b. 1872 (Again, the date has to be incorrect)
Any help to identify the correct surname would be wonderful. Thank you.

Here's a passenger list for Stefania Weglowski, last residence and birthplace Zatowka, leaves father Marcin, coming to Chicago to see sister Karolina:https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:3Q9M-C9T4-2TYB?i=130&cc=1368704&personaUrl=%2Fark%3A%2F61903%2F1%3A1%3AJJGT-S43

The Roman Catholic church records for Zatoka are in Rzczawa, aka Rzezawa. FamilySearch has the relevant records, but only on microfilm. https://www.familysearch.org/search/catalog/8 UI17010?availability=Family%20History%20Library

The indexes on Geneteka have lots of matches to all of those surnames, although not if you try the exact search.
Using Geneteka and FamilySearch's Places tool, I found a Widełka near Kolbuszowa in the Podkarpackie province, and a Zatoka vaguely near Bochnia (or actually a bit north of the midpoint between that and Brzesko) in the Małopolska province. The places are a good 60 miles apart, as the crow flies, so I doubt they can both be correct, or not for the same people, anyway. As you can see from WikiTree's Poland help pages (https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Project:Poland/Resource_Library), it all starts with the location, so figuring out which (if either) of those places is the right one has to be Step Zero.

@Christopher Kovach_1, the film reel icon in the Catalog no longer indicates "film only", since FS finished digitizing all of its microfilm holdings three years ago. The film reel now indicates "not online", usually due to contractual restrictions. (This is often due to a paywalled site offering the same material, but I can't figure out whether that applies here.)

Thank you for the clarification.

Hi,
There is a website that has a "Galician Town Locator" https:// www. geshergalicia. org/ galician-town-locator / and there it says the "Roman Catholic center" for Widelka was Przewrotne and for Zatoka it was Mikluszowice. But I have no way of knowing how reliable this source is.
Good luck for your search!
Kind regards0
