Please help me understand the use of the word “Djeken” in these household examinations.

I believe the children on lines 3 and 4 were born while the mother was married. She became a widow in 1861 and had two illegitimate children Lines 5 and 6 Anna and Johann.

Possibly just a (rather rare) first name, a spelling variant of Djäken. As of today there are 10 females and 13 males in Sweden with this name

@Lynn McCuistion There is a common practice in this region (Dalarna) to put a farm name in front of the given and patronymic name. It seems likely that Djeken Hans Andersson and Djeken Anna Hansdotter have a connection to a farm of the same or similar name "Djeken."
