Clicking from lets say 7 generations out - can't get back smoothly
Clicking from, lets say 7 generations out, I find an ordinance needed.
Click and open person and reserve the ordinance.
Using back arrow to go back to 7th generation view; software takes me back to the beginning of my tree - Me - and I need to again manually go out 7 generations to start working.
Please take me back to where I was working…..

One way I do this is to click on Family Tree just to the right of the Family Search Logo
Then select "Recents"
That will also allow you to go to all your views.

You could also open the person's page in a new tab (right click their name and click "Open link in new tab") and then go back to the original tab when you're done.
However, I also agree it would be nice to save various layouts of the tree.

Thank you for your feedback. Others have had great suggestions on how to hold your place in the generation you were working on.
I have submitted the issue you are experiencing to the engineers for review. We don't have a timeframe of when it will be reviewed but I will report back to you when we do.
