It happened in Lodz in the parish of Saint John, 23 April / 5 May 1891, in 4 in the afternoon, appeared before us Reinold Ziegler, local carpenter, 23 years old, in the presence of these witnesses, Oscar Frankel, butcher 35 years old and Olya Neibert Stonemason 33 years old, both living locally showed us a child, male, announced that he was born in Lodz 23 April / 3 May 1891 at 8 in the morning of his legal wife, born Berta Neibert, 24 years of age. His baptism was performed and was given the name Reinhold, and the witnesses were the first above mentioned witness and Apolonia Neibert. This act was read to due to illiteracy and was only signed.
