Translation Request letter from relative in Poland to America in 1940s
There are several letters from Poland to a brother in America. I am helping a 93 year old woman try to find her ancestry. This letter looks like it might not be to hard to read so I will start with it. Thanks for any help you might give.

Letter from Ignatz Gorski to Stanley Ginther, page 1.
Dear Stach,
Why is it that you do not write to me for so long, I wait each day for your letter and a package. My neighbors received packages from their relatives, and I bragged to them that I will also get a package, but there is nothing. I still hope that, as you promised, and I am thinking that you will fulfil your promise and that you will send me what you promised. Dear Stach, you can place 1 or 2 dollars with the letter, and I will receive it, it will not get lost, and I can purchase 1 kilogram of meat for a dollar. Dear Stach, please let me know the address of Jadwiga and Wiktor. I want to write to them and ask if they could send me anything, as I am so poor, I have to pay for my apartment and our country is poor, and people live in poverty. It is fortunate when someone has relatives in America.
