Fixing indexing errors in source linker
I've encountered a situation in which an obituary was indexed by computer, and there were several errors in how it was indexed, but I didn't see in Source Linker any place to report the issue, or provide solutions to the problem.

@stephenluft This is the correct place to report the errors. You can also click on Feedback in source linker (left side of screen) when on the Source Linker Page. Include your email address so we can respond if we need more information.
Sources that are improperly indexed can also be edited by the user.0 -
To my mind, trying to report or fix index errors from the Source Linker page is like trying to use your thermostat to clean the filter. It's not the right tool (no matter how unnecessarily "smart" they're making thermostats nowadays).
Computer-indexed records generally have a reporting mechanism on the index detail page. Was that not the case here? Granted, such a report will not result in a corrected entry, and for public (non-LDS) accounts (like mine), FS's index correction is unavailable on the GenealogyBank obituaries, so you'll still be attaching incorrect entries to profiles. This may require a few thwacks on Source Linker, but it should be possible to convince it to link things up as desired (using the incorrect entries as if they had been corrected, noting those corrections in the notes/description field of the source). Or, there's always the alternative of bypassing the index and citing the image directly (if you have access to it).
