Inconsistency between "Consistent with Sources" and "Data is Complete" messages
When no indexed sources (whatsoever) are identified against a profile a message appears under "Consistent with Sources" to indicate that and a no-star rating is given. However, there is no similar message if there are no indexed sources for vitals events. I cannot understand how that is not considered important enough to highlight, whereas completing all the vitals data boxes without a shred of evidence as back-up gets a five-star rating against "Data is Complete".
True, it is sometimes almost impossible to find recorded, "official" sources for BMD events, but surely there should be some encouragement to find them?

@Paul W thank you for your feedback. Can you give a PID or screenshot for this so that the engineers have a good example to look at?

Sorry for the delay in my response. I will come back to you once I have found an exact example illustrating my point.
However, to illustrate the current problems with the ratings in general please look at, firstly, G7PP-Z41. This has a HIGH rating, with 4 stars for Consistent with Sources - yet there are no sources attached relating to his birth or death.
His father, G758-CHF, also has 4 stars for this category, yet has no sources attached as evidence of birth, marriage or death.
I can only think that the census sources have played a main role in producing these ratings, yet 3 (out of 6) of the problem points highlighted relating to G7PP-Z41refer to inconsistencies between data in those sources compared to that shown under the Birth vital.
To be honest, I believe the development of this feature has still a long way to go before I would consider it anywhere near a reliable guide for assessing the quality of profiles in Family Tree. I'm afraid the criteria currently being used does not really seem to provide a reflection of how I would base my assessment of the profiles I have examined to date.

@Paul W Thank you as always for your feedback. You are absolutely correct about this not being a finished product. Be assured that the engineers are reading the feedback, discussions etc. and working toward a viable and helpful product. Your willingness to help with testing and input is appreciated.
