Marriage Record No. 66, Zgierz, Evangelical Parish, dated the 15th November 1853, of Henryk Wilhelm Krause, a young man, a clothmaker, local resident, born in town Sagan, Szląsk (Śląsk or Silesia), son of August and Juliana, married couple Krause, clothmakers, already deceased, he is 25 years old, and of a maiden, Augusta Emilia Zerndt, daughter of Karol and Karolina, married couple Zerndt, clothmakers, here (in Zgierz) residing, she is 23 years old, she was born in Zgierz and lives with her parents. This marriage was preceded by three Marriage Banns published in Zgierz Parish. No impediment detected. No prenuptial agreement entered into. The groom submitted the certificate of being known by others, and the bride submitted copy of her birth record from the local Parish. Witnesses: Karol Krause, a clothmaker, resident of Zgierz, 28 years old, brother of Henryk Wilhelm Krause, the groom, and Wilhelm Gaerter, a clothmaker, resident of Zgierz, 52 years old.
