1614 wurde Predigern vom Grossmünster gelöst und zur eigenen Pfarrei
erhoben. Die Kirchgemeinde umfasste den unteren Teil der Stadt rechts
der Limmat («Grosse Stadt» mit den Wachten Neumarkt und Niederdorf)
sowie Fluntern, Oberstrass und Unterstrass, bevor sie nach der 1893
erfolgten Vereinigung mit Zürich selbständige Kirchgemeinden wurden.

I checked the Grossmünster records and found the marriage recorded there also. Was it common to have the same marriage recorded in 3 different churches? Fraumünster, Predigern and Grossmünster?

something has been changed recently with the process of including links - and I find it extremely confusing as well 😒.
When people got married in an another parish (not their home parish) the marriage was usually reported to the home parish and recorded there as well (indicating where it actually had taken place). So with two people involved from two other parishes you may well find the same marriage in three parishes. In your case all three parishes are in Zürich - I am not sure how this was handled under such circumstances.
