Finding the birth of William Moore
Hi!
I am researching the origins of William Moore: https://www.familysearch.org/tree/person/details/GX33-92L. He was birth in scotland around 1825, but I can't find any record of him. All the info that I know of him is in that tree (childs, marriages, census..).
Any help is welcome :)

I can't find his birth / baptism indexed at ScotlandsPeople, which should not be regarded as unusual as many events were never recorded in parish registers. Perhaps the record has been lost - especially if he was baptised in one of the smaller, non-conformist congregations, or maybe he was a Roman Catholic whose baptism record was not shared beyond the church.
Incidentally, the death of his father was registered at Newcastle upon Tyne in the March 1846 period, the GRO index showing him as Charlton Moor and his age as 42, although his burial record has been indexed with an age of 48. (I have added these records to the sources of Charlton's profile at G56P-TPV.)

Thanks Paul. Does that death record provide any relevant info of the family?
The parents of William were from Ireland, but I haven't find any info of them.0 -
Unfortunately, the death certificate would only provide details of when and where he died, cause of death, former occupation and the informant of the event. I do not currently have a subscription to Find My Past, Ancestry, etc., to see the occupation of Charlton / Charles in 1841. However, he does not appear to have left a will. Regarding his birth / baptism and possible marriage in Ireland, I found nothing on the website at https://www.irishgenealogy.ie/en/ - which you might wish to check out yourself. However, I have no experience in dealing with Irish records and can only suggests posting your query about the Moor / Moore family in the FamilySearch group for Ireland Research, if you have not already done so.
It is always a disappointment when one hits a brick wall in research on a particular branch of a family, but I know from experience how difficult locating Scottish events can be and am given to understand this applies to Irish research, too.
I checked the IGI records for Scotland on FamilySearch as (for some reason) not all of the records found on the IGI relating to Scotland baptisms and marriages (pre-civil registration) are found at ScotlandsPeople. Unfortunately, no trace of William's baptism or Charlton's / Charles' marriage found in the IGI, either.
Hopefully, you might be provided with more detailed advice from someone more experienced than me in these areas of research.
Paul
