John Storrs profile is not accurate, yet has high score
I'm getting ready to clean an ancestors profile. John Storrs KT4F-C5D. I do not understand the rating in this instance. His birth is noted as Yorkshire, with a christening in Mission, Nottinghamshire. The 1851 Census says birth place was Mission, Lincolnshire. His death is noted as being in Cheshire, while a record to attach is from Manchester.
There are some obvious inaccuracies and errors. He may very well have moved around, but how does he get a high rate when there are inaccuracies in records and locations. While his birth an christening can be the same day, although not likely in England unless he was stillborn. It can't be in two different counties on same day.
Additionally, the census records are not similar in birth locations. For example, 1851 Census has birth in Mission, Lincolnshire (which should be Nottinghamshire even for the time). 1861 Census has birth in Lancashire. In the quick look only, I don't think this census is correct and needs further research.
I'm going to fix this profile and do some research, but please help me understand how I can see inaccuracies, yet the score is high. Just after a quick 5 minute look, I think this ancestor is a combination of two people. How can the score be high?
Thanks!!
