Finding Marriage Records.
I have been searching for a marriage record(s) for Biagio Giaimo (ID KCF7-GXG). I found some birth records for Giuseppa Giaimo (film 007201197, image 289 and 708). I believe this is my Biagio married to Margarita Russo (ID KCLH-4Q4). I believe Margarita died 1876 (film 007201189, Image 1811). On March 10, 1878 I found a birth record for Luigi Giaimo with parents Biagio and Accursia Russo (could be Margarita’s sister; ID 9JR7-19S).
I am unable to find any marriage records for my Biagio (birth 1841). I tried Family Search microfilm and Antenati. I am having a great deal of trouble deciphering the church records. Are you able to assist?

@Cousin Vinny Thank you for finding the marriage and additional birth records for Biagio and Margarita.
Margarita died 1876 (film 007201189, image 1811). I found a birth record for Luigi Giaimo (film 007201197, image 2312) with parents Biagio Giaimo and Wife Accursia Russo. Is this the same Biagio? I have gone film clip by film clip and can’t find the marriage record for Biagio and Accursia. I assume it will say he was a widower but I am not sure.
Can you please help me with this journey?

The birth record for Luigi in 1878 says Biagio and Accursia weren't married. Luigi's 1903 marriage to Maria Vitabile also says his parents weren't married.

@Cousin Vinny I guess I am a bit confused.
To clarify : Biagio married Margarita. After Margarita died then Biagio partnered with Accursia ad had children but never married Accursia
I did not think out of wedlock happened back in 1800’s. I thought Biagio would have to marry Accursia.

@Cousin Vinny Have you found this in other searches? I am just surprised by the relationship between Biagio and Accursia. I am just trying to understand. If you can help me understand if this was common practice?

There were children out of wedlock all the time in Italy in the 1800s. Often they were abandoned and registered anonymously, but sometimes unwed mothers would register their "natural" children and the child would take the mother's surname. Sometimes couples had a child a bit early and legitimized them later when they married. But I have also seen plenty of instances of unmarried couples registering a natural child together, often when one or both of them were people of substantial means.
I have seen instances where a wife died and the husband proceeded to have children with his former wife's sister. Sometimes they married, sometimes not.
In addition, between 1866 and 1929, the Italian government did not recognize religious marriages for legal purposes. So it may be that Biagio and Accursia married in the church but not in a civil ceremony, in which case for civil registration purposes they were not married. But the fact that even 25 years later, Luigi's parents hadn't married, suggests to me that they weren't married in the church either. Accursia may even have married someone else.

They did marry in the church after all, on 13 Sep 1876 in San Michele parish. Accursia was daughter of Luigi and of Giuseppa Marinello, so she was Margarita's sister.

@Cousin Vinny Thank you for helping me understand this information. I can’t express how grateful I am that you were able to help me fill in some blanks.
My father died when I was 13 years old. His parents died by the time he was 16 years old. My family did not keep any history. Thru a friend I made an acquaintance with a Giaimo living in Sciacca. It turns out this person is a descendent of Luigi.
Words can’t express the gratitude I feel to you for helping me connect these dots.
