Old Source Linker worked well, new one is worse

I have found so many problems and undesirable characteristics with the New Source Linker that I question why this effort is being made. The features that I found worked fine in the original, no longer work.

I am not sure I wish to invest the time to identify all the deficiencies when the original Source Linker worked so well.

I can’t give you a link now, but using my iPad under Safari there was no FEEDBACK button displayed on the New Source Linker screen.

We appreciate the time you have taken to respond comparing the features of Old Source Linker to New Source Linker. This feedback is invaluable as we work with the engineers to refine the product and get everything working as desired.

As technology changes, we have to stay current with the new programs and software changes. Updates to FamilySearch require that the Source Linker be brought up to current standards. Many feel like that if a program in not broken, don't fix it. We understand that change can be hard. However, in this case, we are forced to make the change to the new look and feel and to comply with updated programming standards.

At some point, the Old Source Linker will be retired and we will all be using the New Source Linker. As we receive your feedback and make adjustments, we hope you will embrace the New Source Linker and find it a valuable tool to document your family and discover more about your heritage.
