Where are the new memories and stories stored?
I have added four new memories/stories (hobbies, talents, name and spiritual gifts) some of them have 10 photos as well. I can't find them anywhere except the group feed-but no photos show on the group feed. They are not attached to my profile anywhere. Where did these memories end up? The only other place I can see them is on the app when I look at my answers for the specific sections. I thought they would be attached to me as a memory on my tree. However when I added memory through the app about my grandmother (deceased) it showed up right away on her memories. All of these memories I have marked to share. Any help appreciated!

You will find the new memories stored in your Memories Gallery. In this screenshot, these first three memories were created from the Together by FamilySearch tool and saved only to specific family groups. The fourth one "All the Girls" was created when I was in a living person's profile in a Family Group Tree and also tagged to several deceased individuals.
You are correct, however that those memories created in Together are not automatically tagged to my profile. So while they are saved and don't get lost, automatically linking them to your Family Group Tree profile would be awesome!

So, do I understand correctly that these do not display anywhere except in the Memories gallery if shared with a group?

No, @EricLeeMaynard these would display wherever you have shared them to as well. If you added them through a Family Group Tree profile's memories page, they would appear there. If you shared them in the chat, they would be there as well, if you shared them through Together by FamilySearch, you would see them in your Family Group's stream and also in the stream on your FamilySearch Home page.
Try sharing in different places and see what options you have.
You can also change where you have shared them by clicking on the memory and choosing Visibility in the right-hand sidebar. So if you create a group later, you can add any of these already created memories to that group.

Yes, I can second what Anne is saying. If you add photos using Together, or if you upload memories to a person in a Family Group Tree, you should see the memories there as well. (In your feed, or attached to the person, etc.)
During RootsTech, we did notice an issue where some memories weren't being tagged properly to people. This made it look like the photos weren't there, they seemed to disappear. Yet they did add successfully to the Gallery.
We apologize for this inconvenience. The issue should be fixed now, so if you see it again, feel free to let us know! Thanks.
