Translation Request
- Looking for someone to please translate the attached article about Zygmunt Bohusz-Szyszko, written in Polish, to English. It appears the article appeared in a periodical and published post-2008 in Poland, judging from what I can gather from the article.
I greatly appreciate any assistance in translating the article. I realize it's a big request due to the article's length, but I have no Polish language skills. I'm helping a friend with her genealogy. The article is related to her great-grandfather, a prominent figure in Poland during World War II. Many thanks!

Bill, have you tried to access this article on Chrome where you may by clicking on the Rt.mouse obtain English translation? Otherwise this translation is very time consuming, as the text is long and many words used are archaic. You or your friend may retype this text into Google Translate using Polish letters from typeitPolish.

My friend was able to transliterate it using Transkribus and then he got translation using Google Translate, but unfortunately, this text is too long by 4151 characters, and it cannot be attached. I will review it with my friend tomorrow and hopefully we will be able to get it to you. Otherwise you may try to use Transkribus.

Thanks so much for your efforts -- I realized it was a big ask but I couldn't think of other ways of doing it. If you're not able to do it, I can try Transkribus to see what comes up there.

I talked today with a friend who uses transkribus to scan written or typed text and then uses Google Translate to translate it. He did it for you, and it is amazingly good. Some parts were too difficult to handle but most of it should be very interesting for your friend to read about her ancestor. I provide below the text in English. I could not attach it

I just took a quick look at each of the pages. It's amazing the translation capability shown by Google Translate and Transkribus.
I'm going to recommend to my friend that she try to reach out to the university archivist mentioned in the article and see if there's more information to be gleaned via that route about her ancestor.
