I am trying to research this person as I am 99% certain she is my missing ancestor . In 1918 she was in Johannesburg nursing her sister "Eleanor Elizabeth Marguerite CREAN (Nee WARD)" who died on the 13 Jun 1918 . I cannot confirm nor deny this information . I cannot find anything else on Isobella until the above info in the title . My reasons for believing that this is my Isobella are - 1) The Australian newspaper article that mentions Isobella 'nursing' her sister in Johannesburg , 2) Isobella's father "Joseph Haydon WARD" was a prominant Doctor in England (as was his father) and in Queensland Australia later on . 3) 'My' Isobella WARD was born in Maryborough Queensland Australia on 23 Jun 1871 (which is a 2 year variation from the estimated birth of the above Isobella WARD) . Can someone point me in the right direction from here . I've tried looking up burials in Queenstown cemetery and historical newspaper articles but don't know where to look . Thankyou so much .
