Age for being exempt from road work
In 1824, a Benjamin Hale in Floyd County, Kentucky was exempt from conducting road survey work for being overage. But, what is the age that exempted men from public road service? Can someone recommend a published source or a Kentucky law book or constitution, or research tool that defines ages for legal actions, such as being able to be a witness, marry without consent of a parent, transact a deed, etc?
