Scottish Prisoners of 1745

I am trying to determine the disposition of John Allen. He departed Liverpool on 5 May 1747 on the ship "Gildart" and arrived in Maryland on 5 August 1747. He may have been auctioned off as an indentured servant. John Allen may be my ancestor.
