Belp BE - marriage - 1588 - Byland - context?
I am not sure what this is saying, but I have picked up on the name Byland and am looking for a marriage record for Hanns Byland.
1588 in Belp, Bern, Switzerland. Film # 4759079 image 327 of 567
His first child was born in 1589. I have looked thru these records and this is the only Byland name from this time I have come across.
Thank you for any help.

I have checked the baptismal and marriage register of Belp #2 ( https://www.query.sta.be.ch/Dateien/18/D94135.pdf ), which you can download from the State Archives of the Canton of Bern ( https://www.query.sta.be.ch/archivplansuche.aspx?ID=37 ). The baptisms can be found on pdf pages 7-132, the marriages on 133-150. This is why my page references will differ from your source.
Your image can be found on page 138 of the pdf and it reads:
Volgend die Namen der Ehelüten so durch mich Johann Byland sind zusammen geben worden.
Which can be translated as 'The following are the names of the spouses who were brought together by me, Johann Byland.'
Apparently Byland was pastor in Belp at this time. His first name is not clearly legible here. By chance, I found a corresponding entry in the baptismal register of the same year in which the first name was clearly written (pdf page 50).
On page 52 you will find the baptism entry you are looking for:
Hans Byland ein Kind touft heisst Abraham. Zügen Herr Abraham Müssli (?) ... Wolffgang Mey und Frau Johanna von Lustrach 22. Dezember 1589
Hans Byland has had a child baptized, who is called Abraham. Witnesses Mr. Abraham Müssli ... Wolfgang Mey and Mrs. Johanna von Lustrach. December 22, 1589.
The entries in the marriage register seem to be somewhat chaotic. So far I have not found any marriage of Hans Byland although it should be in the page range 133-139.

Your rather small snipped is out of context - which doesn't help interpretation. Whenever in doubt, I recommend to copy full pages with original resolution - see https://community.familysearch.org/de/discussion/comment/458272/#Comment_458272 how to download these files.
I read Volgend die Namen der Ehelüthe so durch mich Joes Byland sind zusammen geben worden.
This will likely be a header in a marriage register, indicating that the following marriages have been celebrated by Joes (Joannes) Byland. So Joannes Byland was the pastor in Belp at the time, not a groom - he may have married in Belp around this time, but this is not his marriage entry.
There is a suggestion on topic titles in this community (https://community.familysearch.org/de/discussion/129680/what-title-would-be-best-for-postings) - the title of your topic has been edited accordingly.
