I wonder if anyone has information on children from one of the Cockrill and Siddens marriages.
The families were originally from Virginia and Kentucky, before moving down to Texas. I believe that my great grandfather (unsure of his name, but may have been known as Joe) was a son from one of the two marriages. Thomas Jefferson Cockrill married Lutitia Siddens, and his brother, Johnson Harvey Cockrill, married Mary Francis Siddens, sister to Lutitia.
My great grandfather must have visited England around 1890 as my grandfather was born in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, England, in 1891 (to Annie Leak).
I would be grateful for any information on any Cockrills visiting England in the late 1880s or early 1890s.
