My great-great-great-grandmother Susan Louisa Stewart Hays or Hayes was born November 5th, 1825 in Tennessee, and died March 14th, 1891 in Polk County, Tennessee. She is buried in Ball Play, Polk, Tennesee. She married Newton Hays or Hayes of Tennesee. My late grandmother and mother, and now myself have found the same information on our grandmother. Does anyone have a Stewart line that runs through this particular area in Tennesee or know how I can find new information?

 I noticed a source in MyHeritage.com that lists the father for Susan Louisa Stewart (Stuart) Susan Louisa Hayes (born Stuart) - MyHeritage Family Trees - MyHeritage You may want to contact the person listed who posted the information and see if they can provide source or sources for the parent.

I also noticed a number of Stuarts in censuses taken in the 1800’s in various Tennessee counties. Stuart - Tennessee, U.S., Compiled Census and Census Substitutes Index, 1810-1891 - Ancestry.com Also, in the FamilySearch research Wiki there is a county map which shows the surrounding counties and provides additional historical information about the surrounding areas which may prove useful. Polk County, Tennessee Genealogy • FamilySearch

Lastly, at the FamilySearch Find A Grave Index there a number of Stewarts listed in Tennessee cemeteries both in Polk as well as adjoining counties; ex.
