Finding records on ancestor
My great great grandfather was named Thomas Quinn, Sr., which is an unfortunately common name, so I haven't found anything of him.
My grandmother told me that Thomas was a dairy worker, and he lived in San Rafael, until his death around 1931-1932. He had two children, Mary and Thomas Jr. Mary, my great grandmother, was born October 31st (hey that's today :D), 1915 in the Philippines, and she was 16 when Thomas had died in San Rafael. The second child, Thomas Jr. died in Camp O'Donnell, a Japanese Prisoner of War camp during WW2. I forgot to mention, Thomas Sr. was a veteran of the First World War.
We do not know much about his parents other that his father either lived in Oklahoma or Ohio.
I know a few more things, but they are more tangents that might not really help.

@SebastianHumrick I need a bit more information. Where is San Rafael? Do you have any other information on Thomas Quinn Sr. Birth date, birth place. What information do you have on his children, birth dates, places and death dates. There is a lot we can do with that information that could help you find him

@Shannon Potter Wilcox There is not much about Thomas Sr.
San Rafael is in Marin County, California. We are not sure about his birth place.
His wife was Ramona Millares (August 9th, 1895 - September 10th, 1983).
They had two children before he left them:
Mary Millares Quinn (October 31st, 1915 - May 31st, 2010), she later married José Almeda Gimenez.
Thomas Millares Quinn Jr. (birth unknown, but born in Albay, Philippines - 1942) He never had any children or family. Mary was the only surviving family member of Thomas Sr.'s family after he passed.
When Thomas was serving in WW1, he was stationed in the Philippines, most likely Albay, because Ramona was born and lived there. They were later married, but his father and family did not approve of this marriage, and he was forced to leave his family. The only thing that we have of Thomas Sr.'s father is a pen, my great-grandmother, Mary, had gotten it in the sixth grade.
Thomas's ethnicity was most likely Irish, and French, my uncle had gotten Irish and French, very unlikely for a Filipino, so we concluded that we had gotten that Thomas's family.

@SebastianHumrick Boy this is a tricky one. I've searched at Ancestry and Find A Grave to see if I can find any military records or something on Thomas Quinn Sr and have come up with nothing.
I did go to the FamilySearch Wiki and found this: https://www.familysearch.org/en/wiki/Philippines_Civil_Registration
Doing a search here, might help you locate him in the Philippines and perhaps give you some more information.
I am sorry I wasn't of more help for you.
Keep searching, you never know when something will turn up.
Kind Regards,
Shannon
