TRANSLATION REQUEST – Birthplace of Hohroth in France?
Here is the death of Catherine BUHL, the daughter of Jean Buhl and Catherine Schwartz, from 11 Dec 1870 in Griesbach, Haut-Rhin, France.
I think it says she was born in ‘Hohroth’ (am I reading this correctly – would appreciate translation confirmation) which I think must be in France, as it doesn’t give another country. However, I can’t find this location in France.
Does anyone know where this is or what the correct spelling might be?

The document said "Hohroth" but it's not the correct spelling.
It's Hohrod in the Haut-Rhin department.

Your act of death said she was 71 in 1870.
There's only one Catherine Buhl between 1797 and 1802, the 1rst Floreal Year 7, so the 20th april 1799.
