Translation Request - Marriage records
I am attaching Marriage Banns? records for my second great grandparents, Francesco Scopelliti and Santa Calarco. I am looking for information about their parents and have found their names in some of the previous pages. I am unsure what exactly these pages pertain to. Their parents are Domenico Scopelliti and Vincenza Ranieri , and Rocco Calarco and Grazia Giglietta.
Francesco was previously married to Vincenza Corsaro and Santa Calarco was previously married to Francesco Vincenzo Neri. There seems to be mention of them as well? I am attaching the links to the pages with the parents names. I think some of the pages relate to their previous spouses, so I have not included them.
I don’t need a translation of the first two links. I have just provided them for information.
Thank you.

The processetti appear to start on image 675.
675 - baptism of groom, 28 Jan 1805
676 - baptism of bride, 22 Nov 1806
677 - death of groom's mother, 21 Aug 1829. She was about age 47, daughter of Giuseppe and of Maria Sant'Agati. She died in Reggio Calabria; here is the original death record (#355, which get some names wrong, must have been corrected for the marriage processetti): https://antenati.cultura.gov.it/ark:/12657/an_ua20049793/5VDgGjV
678 - death of Vincenza Corsaro on 17 Sep 1829. It doesn't say she was the wife of Francesco but I'm assuming you have that marriage record. She was about age 28, daughter of Vincenzo and of deceased Francesca Barrese. Original (#45): https://antenati.cultura.gov.it/ark:/12657/an_ua1803305/w93MeZp
679 - copy of 678
680 - death of Francesco Neri on 12 July 1828. Again, doesn't say he is the husband of Santa. He was about age 40, born in Catona, son of Domenico and of Filippa Scopelliti. Original (#10): https://antenati.cultura.gov.it/ark:/12657/an_ua1803302/032Mrj8
681 - consent of groom's father to the marriage
682 - consent of bride's parents to the marriage

@Cousin Vinny thank you so much. I have been searching for any information on Domenico Scopelliti and Vincenza Ranieri for years and always hit a dead end. If there was no mention of a death for Domenico, can I assume he was still alive when Francesco married?
This is a copy of marriage info for Francesco from his previous marriage to Vincenza Corsaro. Is there anything I can pull from this about Domenico Scopelliti? Age? , parents? Do you have any suggestions on where else I might look?
Thanks again.

That document says he is about 40. Unless you find his death record or have access to church records in Fiumara, that's all the information you'll have about him. Perhaps he remarried after Vincenza Ranieri's death in 1829?

I think he may have remarried. I’ll check again on archiviodiocesanoreggiobova.it for Fiumara.
Thanks for your help.

Part 2
Hi, I hope you don’t mind me continuing the thread this way. I believe I have found Domenico Scopelliti’s second marriage, but would like your opinion and help with translation.

start of documentation for marriage. Pages 639 through 648. I am just providing for information.
Translation required for the next 2 links.

record of Baptism? for Domenico?

Not sure what the above document says, but I think it’s something about his first wife, Vincenza Ranieri.

I have also found the parish record of marriage for Domenico Scopelliti and Paola Cianci. It is in Latin. It indicates that he is the widower of Vincenza Votano. I think this may be incorrect and should say Vincenza Raneri as everything else corresponds. Is it possible the parish recorded the name incorrectly?

- 12 Jul 1780 baptism of Domenico son of Francesco Scopelliti and Grazia de Luca
- Same as your original post image 677 (death of Vincenza Raniere, 21 Aug 1829. She was about age 47, daughter of Giuseppe and of Maria Sant'Agati. She died in Reggio Calabria; here is the original death record (#355, which lists her name as Vincenza Romeo and her mother as Maria Oliviere, must have been corrected for the marriage processetti): https://antenati.cultura.gov.it/ark:/12657/an_ua20049793/5VDgGjV
- Agreed that his widow is named as Vincenza Votano in the church record. You may want to look for the 1829 church death records in Reggio Calabria to see how her name is listed.
