Help with birth and death records
This marriage certificate may be the individual I am looking for, but I need the next step. I need to know Anna Battaglia's birthdate and her father Carlo's death date to confirm.

How do you find birth and death records for someone if you only have this much information?

You see where she's born and that her dad's dead at the time of marriage. Start rolling through the death indices starting at that date until you hit him. Good chance the certificate will show her mum as his wife. Same deal with the birth indices, except start at marriage year minus her age going back a few years or forward if you don't hit it on the first shot.

You won't find Anna's birth record as the civil records in Trieste only started in 1924 and she was born in 1920-1921. And unfortunately the marriage allegati for 1941 don't appear to be available.
There are 10-year death indexes for Trieste though, that should make the job a bit easier, as it will cover 1924-1943.
