Records for paying the St. Andrew Holborn Parish Watchman
I have a direct relative who I assume assaulted the St. Andrew Holborn Parish watchman Richard Robins. In Londonlives.org records, Isaac Boyer was found guilty and fined by a jury in Sept 1747 for the assault and placed in New Prison Clerkenwell for a month. Unfortunately, the LMA says that the prison records are missing for that year. I was wondering if St. Andrew Holborn would have the records in the vestry? Where else could I find details of the assault? Who paid the watchman?

There is another reference in Londonlives.org of the following:
11 DEC 1747, IMAGE 113: "Isaac Boyer- convicted by Jury upon tryal of an Indictment against him for making an Assault upon Richard Robins, one of the Watchmen of the Parish of St. Andrew Holborn in this County in the Execution of his Office, is fined for the Said Offence three Shillings and four pence, and he is committed to New Prison at Clerkenwell in this County there to be imprisoned for the Space of one Month now next ensuing and until he pay the Said fines--when delivered to pay his fees 12s.8d."
The calendar of Prisoners for 1747-1748 (gaps) is MJ/CC/V/001-002 at LMA.
According to LMA 9/24/2018 (email), the records between March 1747 and March 1748 are missing so we don't know what happened.

There are some parish chest records available on FamilySearch for St Andrew, Holborn but a scan through these does not show anything likely to be helpful. I suggest you check to be sure.
