Help Identifying French Record Sources
I am trying to identify French record sources from the 1800s. Specifically for the marriage of Louis Joseph Désiré Turpain and Mary McMullan. The source is listed on Geneanet as AD 59 - Acte n° 75 page 242/374. They were married in Armentières, 59017, Nord, Nord-Pas-de-Calais, France and the wife signed her name as "MacMaon." How do I find this source record? It's been a few years since I looked at French records. Thanks.

Thank you so much! Can you help me understand the format? What is acte n°75? And did you have to scan the images or was the record indexed? Just trying to understand since I have many records where sources are in the same format.

rhe arkive are in each french departement.
yours is North
so the link is https://archivesdepartementales.lenord.fr/
now, you have to choose "CONSULTER"
old records was filmed by LDS
and some department had organizes indexation and some other asked LDS to do it.
in your case it is the image od the microfilm that you can see
about "acte n°75"
in france in each town there are 3 books one the birth, one for marriage and one for dying.
each year there new book,
and in each, the first record is number 1, the second on number 2 ...
so acte N°75 means record number 75.
have a good day
